How to Hang Acoustic Panels

Hanging panels on the ceiling
GIK's cloud brackets hold a panel flat with a 4 inch gap. No brackets? Cut the supplied wire into 4 pieces, tie each to an eye hook on the panel, and hang them from 4 ceiling hooks. GIK says any hook "rated for a hanging plant" works for its panels.
Renter-friendly options
Freestanding stands, which GIK sells for its panels, are the cleanest option. Screws leave only small holes. Skip adhesives: Auralex's Studiofoam guide calls Foamtak, Tubetak Pro, and EZ-Stick Pro tabs permanent, and says removing cured adhesive can damage the wall (and your deposit).
